Deichman Excavating crews work to set a 10 foot wide by 6 foot high precast concrete box culvert. The culvert was required for the new road to be built for the new Ivy Tech Campus in Logansport, Indiana.
Indiana Excavating Project #1
Traffic is diverted to the far north lanes of East Broadway in Logansport, IN. This enabled Deichman Excavating crews to complete all of the improvements on the south side of East Broadway first. Improvements include new storm drainage, curbs, sidewalks, street lighting, trees and sod.

D & B Trucking is the primary aggregate hauler and sister company of Deichman Excavating. Currently D & B Trucking owns nine tri-axle dump trucks and one tractor/low-boy combination. D & B Trucking also hauls for companies such as E & B Paving, Central Paving, Mohr Construction and Diamond Trucking, just to name a few.

Overhead view of the Davis Road rehabilitation project, which was was completed in 2006. The project included new sidewalks, bridge deck & railing, retaining walls, curb & gutter, and a new storm sewer drainage system.

Deichman Excavating Company was established in 1970 by Sandy Deichman. The company incorporated in the state of Indiana in 1974. The same year, Sandy Deichman and Bob Brandstatter purchased Hedde Ready Mix, Inc. and renamed the company D&B Ready Mix, Inc. Read more
